Messy Church

Does your church need to look at fresh ways of reaching children and families in the community?  Messy Church is just one model of doing this.  Messy Church originated in the UK and is a once a month church, usually on a day or evening other than Sunday.  It is interactive, active, messy, includes craft, activities, worship and a meal.

Sue is involved with a new Messy Church congregation at St Mark’s in Lower Hutt, and is happy to share her experience and processes of setting this up, and the ongoing joys and challenges of this fresh expression of church.
