Recruiting, Supporting and Encouraging Volunteers

The church is essentially a volunteer organisation and even though we are all called by God to serve, it is still important to value each other as volunteers.  Who is going to do this in your church, in the ministries of your church?  Why do some ministries attract volunteers easily and others struggle?  How can we put things in place which will avoid burnout and disillusionment of volunteers?

This workshop can be tailor made for your church or ministry situation.  Sue Fenton has a passion for building teams and encouraging people to develop their gifts, and has a few years experience doing this now.  She has attended two different conferences on Volunteers, and considers this an area of great importance for the church.
